KEBERAGAMAN DEWAN DIREKSI DAN PENGARUHNYA PADA UNDERPRICING SAAT INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING (IPO): BUKTI EMPIRIS DI INDONESIA PERIODE 2019-2022

ABSTRACK The purpose of this research is to find out the factors that influence underpricing. These factors include functional background, educational background, age background, and gender in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2022 period. Using the multiple linear regression method, a sample of 110 companies published prospectus data in this study. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPPS 22. The results of this study indicate that the educational background variable has a positive effect on underpricing. While the variables Functional Background, Age Background, Gender have a negative effect on underpricing. This type of research uses quantitative research with a data sample of 110 companies through a criterion-based data collection technique (purposive sampling).
