PERAN E-MARKETING FACEBOOK DAN PROMOSI DALAM MENINGKATKAN PENJUALAN HASIL NELAYAN (Studi pada Nelayan Kecamatan Ujungpangkah Kabupaten Gresik)
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the role of Facebook marketing and promotion in increasing the sales results of fishermen in Ujungpangkah District, Gresik Regency. The method used by researchers in conducting this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The data used by researchers is primary data obtained through interviews with fishermen who use Facebook to sell their catch. As for the secondary data obtained through documentation in the form of photographs of interviews with fishermen. Data collection techniques are carried out by conducting observations, interviews, and also documentation for the purposes of data collection. The data analysis techniques used by researchers in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. This research uses data validity techniques with triangulation. Based on the results of research on the role of Facebook and promotions felt by fishermen who sell their catch on Facebook are able to increase their sales results. Doing promotions by posting their products through the community on Facebook. Posting good quality product photos and videos has also been done to attract customers and also make existing customers loyal to make purchases at their place. The fishermen also did not forget to provide a brief description, namely the names of each type of fish, the price of each type of fish, and also the appropriate dishes for each type of fish. They also provide direct home delivery services according to the requests of each customer and also try to reply directly when there is an incoming message from a customer who is going to buy their product. Thus, fishermen are able to sell around 8-15 kg of their catch with a profit of 15-25%. Keywords: Fisherman, Facebook, Promotion
