ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that influence the design of accounting information systems on SMEs in Tanon District through the characteristics of accounting information systems. The factors are business age, manager profile, business size and environmental uncertainty. This type of research is quantitative. The sampling method in this study is a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis using partial least squares (PLS) version 4. The results of this study indicate that (1) business age does not affect the design of accounting information systems (2) manager profile has an effect on the design of accounting information systems (3) business size does not affect the design of accounting information systems (4) environmental uncertainty affects the design of information systems accountancy.
