ANALISIS THEORY OF PLANNED BEHAVIOR DALAM PEMBELIAN PRODUK SMARTPHONE SAMSUNG (Studi Pada Masyarakat Solo Raya)

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to analyze the Theory of planned behavior in the
purchase of a Samsung smartphone (Study of the Greater Solo Community). The
population in this study is the general public who live in the Solo Raya area. The sample
in this study were people who had purchased a Samsung smartphone at least 1 time as
many as 170 respondents. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 23
software.
This research method is a quantitative research method. Methods of data analysis
using multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis. The results of the study
indicate that: (1) Attitudes towards the purchase of Samsung smartphones affect the
purchasing decisions of Samsung smartphones. (2) Subjective Norms have an effect on
purchasing decisions for Samsung smartphones. (3) Behavioral control that is felt to have
an effect on purchasing decisions for Samsung smartphones. (4) Purchase intention has
an effect on purchasing decisions for Samsung smartphones. (5) Attitude towards
purchases affects the intention to buy a Samsung smartphone. (6) Subjective norms affect
the intention to buy a Samsung smartphone. (7) Behavioral control that is felt to have an
effect on the intention to buy a Samsung smartphone. (8) Purchase intention is able to
mediate the relationship between attitudes towards the purchase of Samsung Smartphones
and the purchase decisions of Samsung smartphones. (9) Purchase intention is able to
mediate the relationship between subjective norms and purchasing decisions for Samsung
smartphones. (10) Purchase intention is able to mediate the relationship between
perceived behavioral control and purchasing decisions of Samsung smartphones.
