ANALISIS PENYELESAIAN PEMBIAYAAN BERMASALAH PADA SITUASI PANDEMI COVID-19
ABSTRAC
Non-Performing Financing is one of the risks faced by financial institutions when
channeling funds to debtors, not being responsible for debt. This study aims to
determine the causes and resolution of problematic financing during the Covid-19
pandemic at BMT Ta’awun. In addition, researchers want to know how the results of
the evaluation pf the settlement of problematic financing have been implemented.
This type of research uses qualitative research with descriptive methods which are
intended to describe word in detail. The population in this study were BMT employees
consisting of managers, supervisors and the financing department. For members
consists of 5 informants so that the number of samples in the study is 8 people. The
technique used purposive sampling, meaning that it has predetermined characteristics
and snowball sampling to obtain information on a rolling basis. This study uses
observation, interview, documentation and triangulation techniques as data collection
which is analyzed with the analysis model of Miles and Huberman.
The results of this study indicate that the cause of financing problems is caused by
internal factors such as weak analytical skills, lack of thorughness in data verification
and lack of monitoring. While external factors are caused by members who experience
a decrease in income. Settlement of non-performing financing can be done by means
of communication by phone, warning letters, calls to the oofice, home visits of
relaxation members and excution of collateral. The evaluation show that the solutions
implemented have not been fully effective in overcoming problematic financing.
