NIAT MELAKUKAN WHISTLEBLOWING DITINJAU DARI FAKTOR INTERNAL INDIVIDU DENGAN DUKUNGAN ORGANISASI SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERASI
ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine the effect of independent variables namely
attitudes, subjective norms, behavioral control and professional commitment to the
dependent variable, namely the intention to do whistleblowing, as well as to test the
ability of organizational support in moderating the relationship of each
independent variable, namely attitudes, subjective norms, control professional
behavior and commitment to whistleblowing intentions.
This study uses quantitative methods with primary data sources in the form
of questionnaires. The population used in this study were employees of the
Karanganyar Regency Regent's Office. The number of samples as many as 87
employees using purposive sampling technique. The research method uses multiple
regression analysis and moderated regression analysis with absolute value test
which is treated using SPSS 23
The results show that attitudes, subjective norms and professional
commitment have a positive effect on whistleblowing intentions. Meanwhile,
behavioral control has no effect on whistleblowing intentions. The organizational
support variable is able to strengthen the influence of attitudes on whistleblowing
intentions. However, the organizational support variable was not able to moderate
the relationship between subjective norms, behavioral control and professional
commitment to whistleblowing intentions.
