Karakteristik CEO Terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia Tahun 2015-2020

ABSTRACT

This research has a purpose to make a study about CEO's characteristic
towarrd the financial performance on entire islamic general bank in Indonesia at
year of 2015-2020. The characteristic CEO of tenure, CEO of education level, CEO
of gender, and CEO age. The research also uses variable control of the company's
size and leverage.
The population of this research is is the entire islamic general bank in
indonesa at year of 2015-2020. The technique of collecting sample is using
purposive sampling. The data is financial reports which is taken from the websites
of sharia general Banks. The amount of the research is 12 sharia general Banks.
This research is also using panel data regression by using eviews program version
9.
The result of this research shows that CEO tenure, CEO education levels
and CEO gender have a positive influence on financial performance. The CEO's
age has no effect on financial performance. Then, the company size and leverage
has no effect on financial performance.
