FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI MINAT INVESTOR MUDA DALAM BERINVESTASI SAHAM SYARIAH PADA PASAR MODAL DI INDONESIA

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to examine the factors of investment
motivation, investment knowledge, perception of return and perception of risk on
student interest in investing in Islamic stocks in the capital market. The results of
this study are useful for interested parties, namely several universities in the city of
Surakarta, namely UIN Raden Mas Said, UNS and UMS, especially the Department
of Accounting in increasing student interest in investing in Islamic stocks in the
capital market.
This research was conducted at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and
Business, Raden Mas Said Islamic State University, Surakarta. The sample of this
study used a purposive sampling technique, namely students majoring in
Accounting class 2017-2018 with a population of 850 students and a research
sample of 272 students was taken from the slovin formula. The research instrument
is using a questionnaire and tested with validity and reliability. The method in this
study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques.
The results showed that the coefficients of investment motivation, investment
knowledge, perceived return, and perceived risk were positive and had a significant
effect. Based on the F test showing the feasibility of the model, a significant value
of 0.000 0.05 was obtained, indicating that this model is feasible to be used in
research. The predictive ability of the four variable models on interest in Islamic
stock investment is 56.9% as indicated by the adjusted R Square of 0.569 while the
remaining 43.1% is explained by other factors not included in the research model.
