PENGARUH MOTIVASI INTRINSIK DAN PENERAPAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN KANTOR POS SURAKARTA
ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to analyze the Effect of Intrinsic Motivation and Application
of Information Technology on the Employee Performance of the Surakarta Post Office. This
study applies a quantitative research methodology with research instruments using a
questionnaire. The sample in this study amounted to 82 respondents. Data analysis using
SPSS 25 software. The results of this sudy show that intrinsic motivation and the application
of information technology has a positive effect on employee performance.
The conclusion of this study is that an employee who has a good intrinsic motivation
and in the application of information technology can improve his performance. In the
implementation of intrinsic motivation, employee self-awareness is needed in the form of
responsibility to complete the given task. To foster a sense of responsibility in employees,
leaders can reward employees by giving prizes to employees who successfully achieve
targets. Other rewards can be such as promoting employee performance results by uploading
them through social media.
In the implementation of the application of information technology, where in the use
of information technology equipment is expected to create more effective and efficient work,
such as stability in the development of applied applications. Smooth internet connectivity is
considered as a support for effectiveness to facilitate in carrying out work. This needs to be
considered by agencies in order to improve the performance of Surakarta Post Office
employees.
