Penerapan Metode Just In Time Pada Tingkat Penjualan Berdasarkan Pemasok Dan Persediaan Bahan Baku (Studi Kasus Pada Cv Bandar Oblong)
ABSTRACT
Just In Time is a comprehensive production system and inventory
management system where raw materials are purchased and produced as much as
needed and used at the right time in every production process. The main objective
of just in time is to increase profits and competitive position achieved through
cost control, quality improvement, and delivery performance improvements and
increase the productivity of the production or operating system by eliminating all
activities that do not add value to a product, because just in time is an operations
management philosophy that seeks to eliminate waste in all aspects of a
company's production activities. This study aims to apply the Just In Time method on Cv. Bandar Oblong so
that it can determine the influence of suppliers and raw material supplies. The
success of this system is because the basic principle or foundation of Just In Time
is to overcome production waste. The object of this research is Cv. Bandar
Oblong which is located at Candi, Cemani, Kec. Grogol, Sukoharjo Regency. This
company is engaged in convection that produces products from raw materials into
finished products such as t-shirts, jackets, training pants, and so on. This
company has a problem, namely the storage of raw materials that accumulate, causing greater storage costs. The method used in this research is quantitative research, in which the author
uses the number element of data collection methods by interview, observation and
documentation. This research uses raw material inventory assisted by just in time
method. Implementation of raw material control activities, Cv. Bandar Oblong
inspects the raw materials to be used, if the raw materials are not suitable and
there are deficiencies in the raw materials, they will be returned to the supplier. If
the raw materials received are in a condition suitable for use, the raw materials
are ready to be used for the production process. In using the Just In Time Cv. Bandar Oblong must pay attention to four main
aspects to be able to find out the optimal number of orders and the total cost of
raw material inventory, namely the order lot (n), the minimum inventory capacity
(m), the average inventory level (a) and the percentage of cost savings (p), with a
