ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research is to investigate the fund distribution of
productive tithe on the Economical Building and People’s Welfare Program of
LAZISMU UMS (Indonesian: Bina Ekonomi dan Kesejahteraan Ummat
LAZISMU UMS ) and to investigate the fund management of Mustahiq as tithe
fund receiver of the program. The program itself aims to improve people’s
welfare through micro-enterprise training. It is one of programs that actively
conducted by LAZISMU UMS.
This research used qualitative descriptive method. The technique of
collecting data used interview and observation. The informant of this research
was one of the LAZISMU UMS staff and the receiver of productive tithe of the
Economical Building and People’s Welfare Productive Program.
The result of this research shows that the effort of LAZISMU UMS in
distributing the productive tithe fund on the Economical Building and People’s
Welfare Productive Program has conducted well and effectively. Besides, the
management of tithe fund of Mustahiq has managed well, full of responsibility
which it was very useful to help them in developing their productive businesses.
