ABSTRACT

This study aims to examine several factors that influence the performance
of village officials in Jogonalan and Wonosari Districts, Klaten Regency. The
factors used in this study include competence, job satisfaction, budget participation,
and public accountability.
The population in this study were all village apparatus in Jogonalan and
Wonosari Districts, Klaten Regency. The sampling technique used in this study
isCluster random samplingwith the stage of determining the people in the area in the
form of parties involved in the management of village finances. So that a sample of
144 village officials was obtained. Collecting data in this study using a
questionnaire with a Likert scale, the data analysis tool used is multiple linear
regression.
The results of this study indicate that the competence, job satisfaction, and
public accountability factors have a positive effect on the performance of village
officials and the budget participation factor has a negative effect on the performance
of village officials. Jogonalan District and Wonosari District, Klaten Regency.
