Pengaruh Premi Dan Dana Tabarru' Terhadap Pertumbuhan Aset Perusahaan Asuransi Umum Syariah Di Indonesia Tahun 2016-2019

ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the effect of premiums and tabarru' funds as the
independent variable on asset growth as an dependent variable in Islamic general
insurance companies in Indonesia in 2016-2019. Assets become assets that greatly
impact the company's operations, so that if the company's assets are high, the
company's operational results will also be high. Then for the method used in this
study is a quantitative method.
The population in this study is a general sharia insurance company that has
been registered with the Indonesian Sharia Insurance Association (AASI), as many as
29 companies. Then for the sample used in this study amounted to 10 companies. This
research uses purposive sampling technique in its sampling technique. The data in
this study uses secondary data, in the form of annual financial reports on the
company’s official website. Then for data processing, this research uses the
Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 20.0.
The results of data processing in this study indicate that each of the
independent variables premium and tabarru’ funds does not significantly affect the
dependent variable of asset growth, this is indicated by the results of the t test which
shows the premium signivicance value to asset growth of 0,098 and the significance
value of tabarru’ funds to asset growth 0f 0,185. Then the R2 value shows a number
of 0.191 or equal to 19.1% which means that the two independent variables, namely
premiums and tabarru' funds affect asset growth by 19.1% while the rest is influenced
by other variables not explained in this study.
