is important to combine greater development with appropriate risk management,
particularly when providing finance with murbahah contracts Customers of BMT,
especially BMT Syariah Sejahtera Boyolai, prefer murabahah financing. The
higher the amount of funding required, the bigger the danger. With the COVID-19
epidemic affecting many company sectors, BMT must be more careful in giving
funding. In order to mitigate the danger of murabahah financing, this research was
performed both before and after the covid-19 epidemic. Also, to discover the BMT's
challenges in implementing the precautionary principle, as well as its remedies.
The research approach utilized is qualitative, using observation and
interviewing methods. This research showed that BMT Syariah Sejahtera utilized
evaluation analysis using the 5C + 1S concept to apply the precautionary principle
to murabahah funding. The BMT Syariah Sejahtera has been well implemented,
from character, aptitude, money, assurances, economic circumstances to sharia
evaluation. And it's true now, following the Covid-19 epidemic The BMT must be
more cautious in giving funding to clients, particularly in evaluating the character
and business sector of potential customers. Obstacles to BMT Syariah Sejahtera
generally originate from the BMT itself or the client. To overcome these difficulties,
