Analisis Perbandingan Kinerja Keuangan Bank Syariah Di Indonesia Sebelum Dan Sesudah Munculnya Fintech Lending Periode 2016-2019
ABSTRACT
Fintech Lending is part of financial technology has engaged in lending or
online funds financing. The emergence of Fintech Lending in Indonesia has made
customers start to shift their financing from Sharia Banking to Fintech Lending.
Fintech Lending are considered easier, faster, and efficient without complicated
register. This study determines the differences in ROA (X1), ROE (X2), and BOPO
(X4) of Sharia Banks in Indonesia before and after the emergence of Fintech
Lending (Y1) for the 2016-2019 periods.
This study is a quantitative research with time series data on quarterly
financial reports. The study population consisted all of Sharia Commercial Banks
(BUS) in Indonesia with 5 samples of BUS. Sampling is based on purpose sampling.
Using the Parametric Paired Sample T-Test and Non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed
Rank Test method and then processed using IBM SPSS 22.00. The results of this
study showed that there are significant differences in the Return on Assets (ROA),
Return on Equity (ROE), Net Interest Margin (NIM) and Operational Costs to
Operating Income (BOPO) ratios of Sharia Banks in Indonesia before and after the
emergence of Fintech Lending for the 2016-2019 periods.
