Pengaruh Penggunaan Uang Elektronik (E-Money) Terhadap Jumlah Uang Beredar Dan Tingkat Inflasi Sebagai Variabel Moderasi (Periode 2015-2020)
ABSTRACT
Cashless payments have recently gained popularity among the general
population; one of the most popular cashless payment products is electronic money
(e-money). Bank Indonesia, as the regulatory authority for the non-cash payment
system, launched the National Non-Cash Movement (GNNT) to promote non-cash
transactions (Cashless Society).
This study aimed to determine how the number of electronic money
transactions (e-money) affected the money supply, with inflation acting as a
moderating variable. The methods employed in this research were Simple Linear
Regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). This study used a
quantitative approach that drew on secondary data from publications of Bank
Indonesia (BI), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), and the Ministry of Trade
(KEMENDAG). The total population in this study was 72, and the sampling
technique used was the saturation sampling technique method.
The findings of this study show that the number of electronic money
transactions has a positive and significant effect on the money supply, and that the
inflation variable can strengthen the correlation between electronic money and the
money supply.
