Analisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Memengaruhi Just Karir Sebagai Akuntan (Studi Pada Mahasiswa Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi Dan Bisnis Islam Uin Raden Mas Said Surakarta)

ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the influence of instrinsic motivation, extrinsic
motivation, third-party influence, career exposure, and media sources of
information on career paths as accountants. The variables used in the study as
independent variables were instrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, third-party
influence, career exposure, and sources of information from the media. While the
dependent variable in this study is a career path as an accountant. The population
in this study is the accounting students of the class of 2017 and 2018 who have
implemented PPL and have taken accounting courses (accounting theory,
financial accounting, cost accounting, management accounting, accounting
information systems, taxation, financial statement analysis, audit, etc.). Faculty of
Islamic Economics and Business UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta with
respondents as many as 123 students.
The analytical technique used in this study is regression to obtain a
thorough picture of the relationship between variables with other variables.
Processing is done using regression methods with the help of SPSS program
version 23.0.
Test results on this study showed that instrinsic motivation, career
exposure and media sources of information had a significant effect on the career
path as an accountant, while extrinsic motivation and third-party influence had no
significant effect on career paths as accountants.
