Faktor-Faktor Yang Memengaruhi Minat Mahasiswa Untuk Mengikuti Pendidikan Profesi Akuntansi (Ppak)
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of economic motivation, career
motivation, degree motivation, social motivation, and educational costs on student
interest in taking the Accounting Profession Education (PPAk). The variables
used in this study as independent variables are economic motivation, career
motivation, degree motivation, social motivation and education costs. While the
dependent variable in this study is the interest of students to take the Accounting
Profession Education (PPAk). The population in this study were undergraduate
students of the accounting study program class of 2017 and 2018 who had taken
auditing courses at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Adi Unggul Bhirawa
School of Economics, Surakarta with 73 students as respondents.
The analytical technique used in this study is regression to obtain a
comprehensive picture of the relationship between the independent variable and
the dependent variable. Data processing was carried out using the regression
method with the help of the SPSS version 22 program.
The test results in this study indicate that career motivation (X2), degree
motivation (X3) and social motivation (X4) have a positive effect on student
interest in taking the Accounting Profession Education (PPAk). Meanwhile,
economic motivation (X1) and education costs (X5) have no effect on students'
interest in taking the Accounting Profession Education (PPAk).
