Pengelolaan Retensi Nasabah Di Bmt Sych Hasyim Asy'Ari Klaten Pada Masa Pandemi Covid 19
ABSTRACT
The development of Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia is very fast, so there
needs to be good management to be able to compete with other Islamic financial
institutions. One of them is Baitul Mall Wat Tamwil (BMT). From the data of BMT
Syech Hasyim Asy'ari Klaten financial statements based on information from the
BMT obtained data that, the number of members / customers at BMT in 2018 had
1227 members, in 2019 increased by 282 so that the members became 1509.
Meanwhile in 2020 the number of new members was obtained as many as 234 so
that its members become 1743, BMT members until February 2021 increase by 10
to 1753. Active customers are reduced to 93 members, due to several factors,
namely the pandemic. The reason is because there is no money to save, have
finished financing and are not interested in reapplying. Departing from this
problem, BMT is required to carry out a planned management and have the right
strategy.
The purpose of this research is to find out how the existing management at BMT
Syech Hasyim Asy'ari Klaten. This study uses a qualitative field research method.
The data collection used is the interview of the management and members of BMT.
The data analysis technique used triangulation analysis technique.
Based on the results of the study, it was found that the management of retention at
BMT SYECH HASYIM ASY'ARI KLATEN was through preaching visits, coin
programs and strengthening NU organizational lines. Retention management at
BMT Syech Hasyim Asy'ari Klaten has a positive impact on BMT customers not to
leave their membership, although there are still some who do not understand sharia
properly.
