This research aims to determine the effect intellectual capital and islamicity
performance index on the performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia. This research
analyzes sharia banking registered with the Financial Services Authorityin 2016-
2020.
This research uses a quantitative approach, the type of data used is secondary
data, namely data obtained in the bank's annual reports published on each bank's
website in the 2016-2020 period. The sampling technique in this research used a
purposive sampling technique. The final sampling technique was
9 Islamic banks. The data analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis
using the Eviews 9 program.
The research results show that the IC variable has no effect on financial
performance, PSR has no effect on financial performance, ZPR has no effect on
financial performance, IsIR has no effect on financial performance, EDR has a
positive effect on the financial performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia and the
research uses control variables, namely leverage and size.
