PENGARUH CITRA MEREK, KUALITAS PRODUK DAN INOVASI TERHADAP BUYING INTEREST SMARTPHONE SAMSUNG GALAXY A SERIES (Studi Kasus Mahasiswa UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta)
ABSTRACT
This research was conducted to analyze the extent to which the influence of an
independent variable brand image, product quality and Samsung smartphone
innovation on the dependent variable buying interest is more specific to the
population of students in 2023 at Raden Mas Said State Islamic University
Surakarta.
The method used is the quantitative method, using primary data obtained by
distributing questionnaires both directly and online. Then this data was analyzed
with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics application version 25.
After being analyzed, it was found that brand image and product quality variables
had no effect on student buying interest in Samsung Galaxy A series smartphone
products. While the product innovation variable has an influence on student buying
interest in Samsung Galaxy A series smartphone products. On the results of the t-
test, a T count of 5.182 was obtained which was higher than the T table value of
1.984 and a coefficient value of 0.707 with a significance level of 0.000 > 0.05. This
was influenced because Samsung made many innovations, including good
performance, various product types, and succeeded in creating foldable
smartphone products with the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Z Flip types, which were
the result of continuous innovation by Samsung.
