Pengaruh Quality Of Work Life Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Sebagai Mediasi Komitmen Organisasi (PT Perumda PDAM Tirta Makmur Pusat Sukoharjo)
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of quality of work life
on employee performance as a mediation of organizational commitment. The
sample used is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique, the
calculation of looking for samples using the ferdinand formula as many as 104
employee respondents at PT PERUMDA PDAM Tirta Makmur Pusat Sukoharjo.
This study uses a quantitative research method using a questionnaire as a data
collection material which is analyzed with the help of IBM SPSS Software.Data
analysis used research tests carried out in the form of descriptive analysis, research
instrumental tests, classic assumption tests, model accuracy tests, path analysis and
sobel tests. The results of this study prove that the effect of quality of work life has
a positive and significant effect on the variables of employee performance and
organizational commitment while the variable of organizational commitment has
an effect and is significant on the variables of employee performance and
organizational commitment mediating the relationship between the variable quality
of work life on employee performance. The findings of this study provide a
conceptual framework regarding how high levels of performance can be increased
through increasing the quality and quantity of work. Efforts are being made to
improve performance and improve output quality, one of which is through the
participation and involvement of employees in the decision-making process and to
meet the needs of employees by implementing quality of work life. So it can be
concluded that employees who apply the quality of work life well and have high
organizational commitment will have a positive impact on the performance of
employees in the company.
