PENGARUH DISCOUNT, IN-STORE DISPLAY, DAN SHOPPING LIFESTYLE TERHADAP IMPULSE BUYING PADA KONSUMEN MATAHARI DEPARTMENT STORE SOLO
ABSTRACT
This research aims to examine the influence of discounts, in-store displays,
and shopping lifestyle on impulse buying among Matahari Department Store Solo
consumers. The data that the author uses in the research is primary data obtained
through distributing questionnaires to a number of customers who have made
purchases at Matahari Department Store Solo, and secondary data obtained from
several scientific journals, books and other appropriate sources. The sampling
technique was carried out using Non-Probability Sampling which resulted in a
sample of 100 respondents. The analytical tool used in this research is a multiple
linear regression test using SPSS 21.
This research method is quantitative research. The results of the research
show that: (1) discounts have a positive and significant effect on impulse buying
among Matahari Department Store Solo consumers. (2) in-store displays have a
positive and significant effect on impulse buying among Matahari Department Store
Solo consumers. (3) shopping lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on
impulse buying among Matahari Department Store Solo consumers.
