ABSTRACT

This study aims to examine the influence of these variables Independent,
namely work ethic, access to capital and length of business on the dependent
variable, namely merchant income.
This research uses quantitative methods with data sources in the form of
questionnaires, observations and interviews. The population used in this study is
the Legumes Traditional Market in Andong sub-district. The total sample was 80
traditional market traders using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis
techniques use research instrument tests, classical assumption tests, model
accuracy tests, multiple regression analysis tests, and t tests.
The results showed that the length of business had a positive and significant
effect on the income of traditional peanut market traders. While work ethic and
access to capital have a positive and insignificant or significant effect on a trader's
income.
