Strategi Penanganan Pembiayaan Bermasalah Pada KSPPS Dana Amanah Kecamatan Gondangrejo Kabupaten Karanganyar

Abstract

Financing problems can be caused if the financing distributed is not used
properly or is not managed properly and correctly. Financing risk is a risk that
arises as a result of the failure of the party provided with the financing
(counterparty) to fulfill its obligations. Problematic financing is financing where
there is a bottleneck in principal installments and/or profit/margin sharing.
This research aims to analyze the factors causing problematic financing and
the strategies carried out by KSPPS Dana Amanah Gondangrejo to handle
problematic financing. This research is a qualitative descriptive research using
observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques. The sources
are divided into primary data and secondary data. Meanwhile, the analysis includes
data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
The results of this research include the causes of financing problems at KSPPS
Dana Amanah Gondangrejo, namely internal factors including lack of supervision
of the character of its members, errors in prediction of survey results, limited
information. External factors include problems in members' businesses, deliberate
failure to pay installments, misappropriation of the use of financing from its
intended purpose, members running away leaving behind the blessings and unclear
information. The strategy for handling problematic financing is monitoring and
coaching, emphasizing members' savings, rescheduling, reconditioning and
execution.
