ANALISIS PENGELOLAAN DANA ZAKAT DALAM PEMBERDAYAAN USAHA MIKRO DI LAZISNU KABUPATEN KLATEN

ABSTRACT

Zakat management is the activity of planning, implementing, organizing and
monitoring zakat activities. Zakat is when Muslim individuals or business entities
must distribute wealth to those who are entitled to receive it according to Sharia
law. Zakat is an important indicator for the growth and development of the
economic power of Islam. Just like the four pillars of Islam, the teaching of Zakat

has many different aspects, including social, vertical-horizontal and secular-
secular values. This study discusses the management of Zakat funds in

microenterprise development in LAZISNU Klaten. The aim of this study is to
understand how Zakat funds are managed and how Zakat funds contribute to
society. This type of research belongs to qualitative research, which has two types:
primary and secondary. In this research, interviews and written data were used in
the data collection process, and the analysis method used in this research is data
collection, data processing, data presentation and conclusion drawing.
The research results show the following: 1. Management of zakat funds to
empower micro businesses in LAZISNU Klaten Regency, using management
strategies such as improving the economy, business development, performance
improvement and business supervision. 2. Contribution of zakat funds to empower
micro businesses, namely by distributing zakat funds to provide additional business
capital assistance to mustahik. This primarily increases the income of small and
medium businesses, secondly having a place is increasing micro business income
and employment, secondly having a safe and protected living environment, thirdly
educating intellectual abilities, and finally improving health for worker
productivity.
