Pengaruh Inflasi, Nilai Tukar, Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK), dan Jumlah Uang Beredar (JUB) terhadap Pembiayaan Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia
ABSTRACT
Banks are the most important element in a country's economic activities as
financial institutions with an intermediary role. The intermediate function of banks is
as a means of channeling funds and as a location for financial exchange. When
conventional banking slumped in the storm of the economic crisis that hit Indonesia,
the fact that Islamic banking is relatively able to survive and even progress is clear
evidence that the performance of Islamic banking is quite good. This study aims to
determine the effect of inflation, exchange rates, third party funds, and money supply
can affect Islamic commercial bank financing in Indonesia. This research is
quantitative and uses a descriptive approach. The research samples were Bank Mega
Syariah, BTPN Syariah Bank, Victoria Syariah Bank, BCA Syariah, Bukopin Syariah
Bank, and Muamalat Bank which were selected by purposive sampling. The data used
is secondary data in the form of quarterly financial reports obtained from the website
in 2018-2022. The data analysis method is panel data regression analysis. The results
showed that the variables of inflation and exchange rates had no significant effect on
Islamic commercial bank financing while the variables of DPK and JUB had a
significant effect on Islamic commercial bank financing in Indonesia. Inflation,
exchange rate, DPK, and JUB variables simultaneously affect Islamic commercial
bank financing by 58.47% while the remaining 41.53% is influenced by other variables
outside the research.
