Analisis Efektivitas Penanganan Pembiayaan Bermasalah Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Di KSPS Kossuma Cita Mandiri Sukoharjo
ABSTRACT
Financing is one of the main activities of Islamic banks, and in its
implementation, the risk of financing problems is unavoidable. Islamic banks can
reduce this risk by implementing an effective monitoring system on their financing.
The main objective of monitoring this financing is to detect irregularities early in
the financing. Sharia banks hope that monitoring of this financing will run
optimally, so that it can increase the effectiveness of their financing
implementation. In this way, financing that has been distributed by sharia banks
can be recovered, and the amount of problematic financing can be reduced.
This research aims to achieve several objectives 1) To identify the factors
that caused financing problems during the COVID-19 pandemic at KSPS Kossuma
Cita Mandiri Sukoharjo. 2) To analyze the factors that contributed to financing
problems during the COVID-19 pandemic. 3) To understand the strategies used to
overcome financing problems at KSPS Kossuma Cita Mandiri Sukoharjo. 4) To
evaluate the effectiveness of actions in dealing with problematic financing during
the COVID-19 pandemic at KSPS Kossuma Cita Mandiri Sukoharjo. This research
method involves a qualitative approach with field research. Data was collected
through interviews, observation and documentation. The data was then analyzed
using the Miles and Huberman model through three stages, namely data reduction,
data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification.
The results of this research indicate that: 1) Financing management at
KSPS Kossuma Cita Mandiri Sukoharjo involves several stages, including file
submission, file verification, 5C+1S analysis, surveys, financing committee
meetings, and financing disbursement. They also implement financing risk
management. 2) Actions in handling problematic financing during the COVID-19
pandemic at KSPS Kossuma Cita Mandiri Sukoharjo include various monitoring
methods, including indirect monitoring, direct monitoring, monitoring with
emphasis, sending warning letters, and auctioning collateral. 3) However, the
effectiveness of actions in dealing with problematic financing during the COVID-
19 pandemic is still not optimal. This is caused by an increase in the NPF (Non-
Performing Financing) value from 2019 to 2021. In conclusion, efforts to reduce
problematic financing during the COVID-19 pandemic at KSPS Kossuma Cita
Mandiri Sukoharjo require an increase in the effectiveness of financing risk
monitoring and management.
