ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the benefits of productive zakat fund distribution by
BAZNAS, empowerment carried out by BAZNAS, and BAZNAS's efforts to overcome
obstacles regarding mustahik empowerment in Karanganyar Regency.
Researchers use a qualitative approach with triangulation data analysis, namely
data collection by means of interviews and documents. The data sources used in this
research are Karanganyar Regency BAZNAS officers and Baznas Mustahik who receive
productive zakat business capital.
The results of this study determine the benefits of productive zakat funds channeled
with good empowerment and then discuss the positive impact in the future. This research
aims to find out how BAZNAS manages productive zakat, especially in its empowerment,
whether it is efficient or not and what obstacles occur during the program. Then BAZNAS
can take efforts that must be made for the existing obstacles, so the role of this research
aims for better empowerment at BAZNAS Karanganyar Regency.
