Penerapan Model UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) Terhadap Perilaku Pengguna QRIS di Kota Surakarta (Studi pada Generasi Z di Surakarta)
ABSTRACT
This research aims to explore the factors influencing the acceptance and
adoption of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) among
Generation Z users in Surakarta City, employing Venkatesh et al.'s (2003) Unified
Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. Key factors
including effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, behavioral
intention, and QRIS use behavior were examined through a quantitative survey
involving 130 respondents.
The target population comprises all QRIS users belonging to Generation Z in
Surakarta City. Research data was gathered through a survey method employing
both direct and indirect (online) distribution of questionnaires. This quantitative
study involved 130 respondents selected through purposive sampling techniques.
Data analysis was conducted using the SEM-PLS method, with processing
facilitated by SMART PLS 3.0 software.
The findings revealed that six out of the eight hypotheses were supported.
Notably, social influence was found to have no significant impact on the behavioral
intention and usage behavior. However, both effort expectancy and facilitating
conditions emerged as variables with a positive and significant effect on the
behavioral intention to use QRIS. Moreover, they were found to have a significant
indirect effect as well. These findings provide valuable insights for enhancing QRIS
adoption strategies and understanding user behavior dynamics.
