Pengaruh Karakteristik Spesifik Terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan Asuransi Jiwa Di Indonesia

ABSTRAK

This research aims to analyze how specific company characteristics
influence the financial performsnce of life insurance companies in Indonesia. This
research data uses a collection technique in the form of a documentation method.
The research method in this research is a quantitative method with the
sampling technique being a purposive sampling technique. The sample in this
research consisted of 28 life insurance companies registered with the Financial
Services Authority (OJK) for the 2017-2021 period with a total of 140 sample
observations. The data analysis used in this research is panel data regression
analysis using the eviews 10 application.
Based on data analysis carried out using panel data regression analysis, it
shows that claims expenses and operational expenses have a significant negative
effect on the financial performance of life insurance companies. Meanwhile,
Premium Growth, Risk Based Capital and retention do not have a significant effect
on the financial performance of life insurance companies in Indonesia.
