ABSTRACT
Motivation is a condition within a person that encourages him to carry out
certain activities to achieve specific goals. Perception is a process carried out by a
person in organizing and interpreting stimuli influenced by one's desires,
knowledge and relevant experience. These two things are essential and influential
in deciding to become a member of the Gondang Sragen branch of KSPPS
Babussalam Al-Barokah.
The objectives of this research are as follows: 1) To determine the influence
of non-Muslim motivation on the decision to become a member of the Kspps
Babussalam al-Barokah Gondang Sragen branch of the sharia cooperative. 2) To
determine the influence of non-Muslim perceptions on the decision to become a
member of the Kspps Babussalam al-Barokah Gondang Sragen branch of the
sharia cooperative. 3) To determine the influence of motivation and perceptions of
non-Muslims on the decision to join the Gondang Sragen branch of KSPPS
Babussalam Al-Barokah. This research is quantitative with a survey approach, in
taking samples using the purposive sampling technique with the Slovin formula.
The data was obtained through a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data
analysis technique in the Validity test uses corrected item-total correlation. The
Reliability test uses Croanbach Alpha, the Normality test uses Klomogorov-
Smirnov, and the classical assumption test uses the multicollinearity test and
Heteroscedasticity test. In contrast, the Hypothesis test uses multiple linear
regression analysis.
The results of this research show that 1) The motivation of non-Muslim
communities influences the decision to become a member of a sharia cooperative
with a t-test significance value (sig.) of 0.000 < 0.05. 2) The perception of non-
Muslim communities influences the decision to become a member of a sharia
cooperative with a t-test significance value (sig.) of 0.004 < 0.05. 3) Motivation
and perception of non-Muslim communities simultaneously influence the decision
to become a member of a sharia cooperative with the sig value of the f test. 0.000
< 0.05. while the coefficient of determination test produced an R. Squere value of
0.716, meaning that Motivation and Perception had an influence on the decision to
become a member of the Gondang Sragen branch of the Babussalam Al-Barokah
