Analisis Good Corporate Governance (GCG) Dalam Peningkatan Nilai Perusahaan BSI KC SOLO 1

ABSTRACT

The aim of this research is to find out how governance is implemented in
accordance with the 5 principles of Good Corporate Governance at BSI KC Solo1.
This research is classified as field research with a qualitative approach.
This research uses research objects at BSI KC Solo 1. The informants in this study
were 11 informants selected using purposive sampling technique. The data sources
used are primary and secondary data sources. Data collection was carried out by
means of observation, interviews, documentation, and distribution of
questionnaires. The analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and data
conclusion.
The results of this research reveal that the implementation of the 5
principles of Good Corporate Governance consisting of transparency,
accountability, responsibility, independence and fairness/equality has been
implemented well. So there are many benefits obtained by BSI KC Solo 1, one of
which is that the value of the company can increase because the work environment
becomes conducive, cooperation between all parties becomes good, employee
rights are guaranteed, they can provide excellent service, performance is much
more effective and efficient, reduce errors, customers feel safe, comfortable and
trusted. However, there are obstacles in implementing governance principles,
namely inadequate facilities and technological developments which mean that BSI
KC Solo 1 must continue to innovate continuously in order to compete with sharia
banks or other sharia financial institutions.
