ANALISA EFISIENSI KINERJA UNIT USAHA SYARIAH BANK PEMBANGUNAN DAERAH MELALUI PENDEKATAN METODE STOCHASTIC FRONTIER ANALYSIS

ABSTRACT:

This research aims to analyze the value of the efficiency level of Sharia Business Units owned by
Regional Development Banks in Indonesia for the period 2020 to 2022, as well as identifying variables
that have a significant influence on the value of the efficiency level of Regional Development Bank
Sharia Business Units in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to see the level of performance
efficiency of the Sharia Business Units of Regional Development Banks in Indonesia in preparing
policies for implementing spin offs and conversions into Sharia Commercial Banks. This research
focuses on assessing the level of efficiency through a technical approach, by measuring techniques and
operational relationships in the process of using input into output. The input variables used consist of
Third Party Funds, Labor Costs, and Assets. Meanwhile, the output variables used consist of Financing
and Operational Income. This research used a sample of 12 Sharia Business Units of Regional
Development Banks in Indonesia using the Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) method approach. It was
found that overall the Sharia Business Units of Regional Development Banks had good efficiency levels
with an average efficiency level value above 99%. Furthermore, using Tobit regression, it was found that
assets had a significant influence on increasing the value of the efficiency level of Sharia Business Units
of Regional Development Banks in Indonesia, while Third Party Funds and Labor Costs had a
significant influence on reducing the value of the efficiency level of Sharia Business Units of Regional
Development Banks in Indonesia.
