Pengaruh Makro Ekonomi dan Rasio Keuangan terhadap Non Performing Financing (NPF) Perbankan Syariah di Indonesia Periode 2018-2022
ABSTRACT
This research aims to empirically determine the influence of
macroeconomic variables and financial ratios on Non Performing Financing
(NPF) in Sharia Banking in Indonesia for the 2018-2022 period. The sample used
is all Sharia Banking during the observation period. The data uses a time series
with monthly periodization which is reported through Sharia Banking Statistics at
the Financial Services Authority for 2018-2022. The technique in this research uses
Vector Auto Regressive (VAR) analysis which includes stationarity test,
determination of optimum lag, VAR stability test, cointegration test, VAR estimation
test, and Impulse Response Function (IRF) which is tested using the Eviews 10
software tool.
The results of this research found that simultaneously macroeconomic
variables and financial ratio variables had a significant effect on Non-Performing
Financing (NPF) of sharia banking. Meanwhile, in the partial test, it was found
that inflation, Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), and Capital Adequancy Ratio
(CAR) had a negative and significant effect on Non-Performing Financing (NPF)
of sharia banking. Meanwhile, the exchange rate variables, Gross Domestic
Product (GDP), Return Ratio (RR) has no effect on Non Performing Financing
(NPF) of sharia banking. The IRF test results show that all variables in periods 1
to 4 fluctuate due to shocks. Then in the following period the research variables
began to undergo adjustments until they could be controlled.
