Analisis Pengaruh Kinerja Keuangan Bank Umum Syariah Terhadap Pertumbuhan Pangsa Pasar Perbankan Syariah Di Indonesia
ABSTRACT
Indonesia has a demographic bonus in the form of a large Muslim
population, but the market share of Islamic banking in Indonesia has not been
able to grow optimally in accordance with its potential so that the percentage is
still below the target set by the government. Previous studies have been conducted
to find variables that are thought to contribute to increasing the market share of
Islamic banking. Based on the findings of several previous studies, the authors
found evidence gaps in the form of inconsistencies in the results of the influence of
ROA, CAR, and FDR variables on the market share of Islamic banking. This study
aims to observe, analyze, and review the influence of these variables in the latest
research period after the establishment of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in 2021.
In addition, the author tries to offer novelty in the form of adding Shariah
Enterprise Theory and PSR variables. The research was conducted using EViews
12 statistical software using panel data regression analysis with a sample of
quarterly financial reports for the period Q1 2021 - Q3 2023 from 11 Islamic
Commercial Banks registered with OJK. Based on the results of the research that
has been done, it is found that the variables ROA, CAR, FDR, and PSR
simultaneously have a significant influence on the market share of Islamic
banking in Indonesia. Partially, ROA, CAR, and PSR variables have a significant
influence on the market share of Islamic banking in Indonesia with a positive
direction. Meanwhile, the FDR variable was found to have no significant effect on
the market share of Islamic banking in Indonesia.
