Peran Koperasi Syariah Dalam Mendukung Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah di Kauman

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine "The role of Kauman Sharia
Cooperative Financing in Supporting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in
Kauman". This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive
approach. There were two informants in this research, namely the first was the
Kauman Sharia Cooperative, Syarikat Dagang Kauman, which consisted of 2
informants. Then the second was members of the Kauman Sharia Cooperative,
consisting of 8 informants. The data source used is primary data. Data collection
techniques use interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques
include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions
The results of this research show that the role and financing strategy of
the Kauman Syarikat Dagang Cooperative is as an economic business entity
which aims to help UMKM members who have limited economic capabilities and
with a strategy to develop the business of cooperative members by providing
assistance for training and inviting appointed UMKM to participate. as well as at
exhibitions at events related to their products. The impact of business capital
financing at the Kauman Syarikat Dagang Cooperative has a very strong
influence on their survival and their income has also increased very well, which is
beneficial for their daily lives in developing their business and also for meeting
their needs. . And the obstacle for the Kauman Sharia Cooperative, financing was
interrupted for 3 years because UMKM products began to decline, this was due to
the Covid 19 pandemic which also caused business in the Kauman halal area to
decline.
