Family Director, Independent Directors, Remuneration Committee And Executive Remuneration In Indonesia Listed Family Firm 2020-2022
ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine the influence of family directors on the board,
family CEOs, family directors on the remuneration committee, independent directors
on the board, and independent directors on the remuneration committee on executive
remuneration, with board size, firm size, firm leverage, and firm performance lag as
control variables. This study uses purposive sampling technique, consisting of 23
family companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2022. The
analysis technique used is panel data regression analyzing using software Eviews 10.
This study finds empirical evidence has no influence of family directors on the
board, family CEOs and family directors on the remuneration committee on executive
remuneration. Furthermore, independent directors on the board and independent
directors on the remuneration committee also could not influence the executive
remuneration in Indonesia listed family firms 2020 to 2022 .
